Colors Rainbow gives legal awareness training to local residents in 20th quarter, Shwepyithar Township, Yangon from June 14 to 15.
The training receives only 20 attendances in the first day, but the number increases to 28 in the second day because of the local people’s big interest on legal knowledge.
“The training focuses to give legal knowledge to local people on how to resolve legal problems in legal way,’’ Daw Hay Man Oo, a Trainer at the training, said.
At the two days training, essential sections and facts from Criminal Code, Myanmar Customary Law, Yangon Police Act and Police Manual, which people need to know, were discussed.
This training focuses not only on LGBTs but also on non-LGBT people, Daw Hay Man Oo said.
